Written in 2021 in the lead up to COP26, this song is my response to what I hear when I am on the land and I listen deeply... It is time to feel my interconnectedness and kinship with the Earth, to heed the call, and stand up for her wellbeing. There is no more time to wait or stay complacent.
To end, it can feel really powerful to take the parts out in the the same order they came in, and have them join the tenor in singing their part until everyone is in unison on the tenor part for one last round singing - “Stand up!”
