Singer

Voice teacher
I grew up in Canada but I have made my home in the UK for the last 20 years. I sing in the forests and by the rivers of Devon while walking my dog, I am a mum of two amazing adult children, I am peri-menopausal, I enjoy knitting small things, I like playing games, I love being on the land with my partner Shaye and I love dancing. In singing I find my creativity, spirituality, fun, community, connection, solace.
I run choirs, retreats, workshops and I write songs.
I love singing - everything from musical theatre and Georgian songs, to Joni Mitchell and gospel. I have also discovered a new love of collaborative vocal improv (CVI) and I am deeply grateful to have found a beautiful and growing community of people with whom I get to explore this rich and exciting musical landscape.
I am deeply committed to supporting others to explore and love their own voices. I have been running community choirs and singing workshops for almost 20 years, and have been a member of the NVN for most of that time. The mindfulness and singing retreats I run are focussed on exploring your own embodied experience of singing with the support of a group of other voices, and the incredible strength and beauty of nature.
My solo songs are not yet recorded as an album, but you can hear some rough recordings of some of them on Soundcloud.
